The halibut is pricey but......just get it!!!! And sit at the very top, watch the ocean, and enjoy it! Add a clam
Chowder for your side and three breaded shrimp. Your mother may have trouble competing with that special in house made tartar and cocktail sauce. You only need a dab because of the seafood quality????
Delicious sea food! I had red snapper and it was cooked perfectly. As were the scallops! Beautiful setting to eat out on the patio for lunch, overlooking the ocean. Everyone in my family said this was the best food we had so far on out LA trip! Definitely worth the drive out here for good sea food!
Favorite place of the locals. Fresh fish to take home and cook. Great selection and variety. Long lines. Bench seating. Cleanliness is questionable. Food is good but not great. This is more of a place to hang out with friends and have a nice meal.
I have stopped at Malibu Seafood many times and have really enjoyed the experience. Today I was disappointed. The fish was slightly underwhelming as was the slaw. The fries were tasty. It wasn’t bad by any means but it wasn’t as good as the last few times I visited. It is still the best place to eat seafood by the ocean. Also the seafood selection in the deli area always looks amazing.
This is a seafood counter where you order and they give you a buzzer thingy that tells you when your food is ready. There are picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas and some without so be prepared to sit in the sun as the tables with umbrellas go quickly. There are no end or tables that's why the Google description called this a patio Restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. The seafood really doesn't get any fresher because they also sell the fresh fish and Seafood on the right side of the store. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The clam chowder is delicious, a definite must order.
